Criteria:

PeriOpMan grants can be used towards any prospective research, education or quality improvement activities that falls within the broad area of peri-operative medicine

Funded activities may include (but are not limited to):

• • Materials, services or expert input to support research, education or quality improvement
• • Travel to undertake educational activity that is generally not available in the region.
• • Travel to present the findings of research, education or quality improvement

Please note: • Educational activities must be above-and-beyond the widely available activities that would typically be funded by a Department or School of Anaesthesia. • The lead applicant must already be a PeriOpMan member to apply (or join at time of submission) • The lead applicant will be expected to submit a short (500 words maximum) report describing how the funds were spent, and what was achieved. • The lead applicant may be invited to present your work at a PeriOpMan meeting. • Any publications resulting from the funding must acknowledge PeriOpMan as a funder. Specific Exclusions: • No retrospective funding can be given. • We cannot support the applicant to teach on courses run by others.
