I am currently an ST6 Anaesthetic Trainee in the North West Deanery, UK. With six years of anaesthesia training in Egypt and a two-year clinical fellowship at the Manchester NHS Foundation Trust, I've gained diverse experience. My primary interest lies in perioperative medicine, specifically risk stratification through CPET and prehabilitation. Using social media, I enjoy sharing my knowledge about perioperative medicine. Beyond medicine, I'm a football enthusiast, a passionate traveler, and an avid coffee connoisseur. That's me in a nutshell - a doctor with a passion for perioperative care and a zest for life's simple pleasures.
In addition to the various perioperative medicine focussed events, PeriopMan runs an annual educational event targeted specifically towards trainees and fellows. Further information about PeriopMan trainee meetings can be found here.
Alongside several benefits of membership of the Manchester Perioperative Medicine Society, you also get exclusive access to the talks from previous events for your CPD. Furthermore, the first year of your membership is free when you sign up to the trainee meeting!
